Crop an image to exact size

The focal sliders control which part of the source remains when its proportions differ from the requested output. Processing happens in your browser; selected file contents are not uploaded.

Choose an image, output dimensions, and focal position.

How to use this tool safely

  1. Enter the required output width and height, then choose the source image.
  2. Move the horizontal and vertical focal controls toward the subject that must remain visible.
  3. Create the crop, verify its pixel dimensions, and inspect headroom, borders, and document edges.

Input, output, and no-upload processing

JPG, PNG, and WebP inputs are supported and output is PNG. The crop fills the requested aspect ratio by removing outer content; it does not add padding or identify faces automatically.

What Readyvio verifies

Readyvio verifies the exported pixel dimensions. It does not assess biometric rules, official photo composition, safe areas, or whether important content was cropped out.

Crop a photo to an exact width and height

Use exact cropping when the destination requires a different shape from the source and stretching would look wrong. Enter the requested pixel dimensions, then move the focal controls toward the face, document, product, or other subject that must stay inside the frame.

The browser removes outer pixels until the requested aspect ratio is filled, exports a PNG, and verifies the final dimensions. Nothing is uploaded by the cropping code.

Check the crop before downloading

Exact dimensions do not guarantee a good composition. Inspect headroom, shoulders, borders, signatures, document corners, product edges, and any text that must remain visible. If nothing can be removed safely, use a padded editor or choose dimensions with the source aspect ratio.

Common questions

Why are parts of my image removed?

Exact cropping must remove content whenever the source and target aspect ratios differ. Adjust the focal controls or choose a padded editor if nothing can be removed.

Can this make an official passport photo?

It can produce specified pixel dimensions, but it cannot certify pose, lighting, background, head size, or current government requirements.

What is the difference between crop and resize?

Cropping removes outer content to reach a new shape. Resizing changes the entire frame and can stretch it when the proportions change.

Can I crop a JPG, PNG, or WebP online without uploading it?

Yes. Readyvio accepts those formats and performs the crop locally in a modern browser.

How do the focal-position controls work?

Move them toward the part of the source that must remain visible. The preview calculation uses that position when choosing which outer pixels to remove.

What format does the crop tool download?

It downloads PNG so the exact exported dimensions can be verified consistently. Check whether the receiving service accepts PNG before submitting it.

Before you submit

This is a focal-position crop, not biometric or authority approval. Check headroom, face size, and current official requirements yourself.

Readyvio is not affiliated with an issuing authority and cannot guarantee acceptance. Check the destination's current rules and keep the original file.
