How to use this tool safely
- Keep the original private and choose a separate copy for processing.
- Create the scrubbed JPEG and wait for the tested sensitive-field scan to pass.
- Download and inspect the new copy for orientation, quality, transparency changes, and visible private information before sharing it.
Input, output, and compatibility
JPG, PNG, and WebP inputs are decoded and re-encoded as JPEG. Transparency is flattened, animation is not preserved, and color or quality can change.
What Readyvio verifies
Readyvio scans the new output for a defined set of sensitive metadata field names. This is stronger than assuming re-encoding worked, but it is not proof against unknown formats, steganography, or information visible in the pixels.
Common questions
Is the scrubbed image guaranteed anonymous?
No. Faces, signs, reflections, document numbers, and scene details can identify people or places even when tested metadata is absent.
Why should I keep the original?
Metadata and quality can be useful for ownership, editing, or personal records. The scrubbed JPEG should be a separate sharing copy.
Before you submit
Re-encoding can change quality, transparency, and color profiles. It cannot promise removal of unknown steganography or every proprietary structure.
